Finishing is one of those things that some people value more than others. For some, like me, the journey is lots of fun and while finishing something is good and often needed, it doesn’t bring me the same satisfaction that it does my bride. Today, we both finished another semester of school. For me, I am going to miss what has been the routine for a good while now. Don’t get me wrong, finishing some of those projects would never have happened if it were not for the deadline. But, there is a certain comfort in being where you are. You at least know what to expect, even if it isn’t always fun. Denise on the other hand has entered into this incredible time of peace and relief. She is so incredibly happy to have finished something that even now, she is asleep. She is reveling in the satisfaction of a job well done. Me, I am here writing about the difference. I see incredible validity in what we have accomplished, but I wanted more learning to take place around those topics. I am now motivated to learn more now that I have completed those classes than I was before. Denise probably feels the same way, but for today…it is good to be done.
Looking forward to tomorrow. There is so much to learn.

The question for me always is, “What is the end?” Now that college is over, there is there are few definitive ends and milestones unless I create them myself.
